JobsAround’s websites and mobile apps help people who have recently arrived in France find jobs that match their skills and interests.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to work, regardless of their nationality. JobsAround hopes to make it easier for newly-arrived people in France to find jobs and integrate into their new life in France. This is identified as "Purpose".

To reach this Purpose, JobsAround offers:

  • - Websites and mobile apps

  • - Telegram canals and social network pages

  • - Educational content, trainings and classes

those are identified as “Services”

As a Visitor or Member of JobsAround, your personal data will be collected, processed, and shared in accordance with this Privacy Policy and other documents referenced in this Privacy Policy, as well as updates.

JobsAround will be the controller of your personal data.

JobsAround may modify this Privacy Policy, and if we make changes to it, we will notify you through our Services, or by other means, to provide you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. If you object to any changes, you may close your account.

You acknowledge that your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to this Privacy Policy means that the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data is subject to the updated Privacy Policy, as of its effective date.

1. Jobseeker collected data
Registration

To signup you need to provide your name, email address, phone numbers and a password.

Profile

Your profile needs to be filled with information in order for you to receive help finding a job, and more broadly for the goals defined in JobsAround’ Purpose. Such fields are :

  • - Profile picture

  • - Address (Street, City and Postal code)

  • - Age

  • - Resume (education, work experience, skills…)

  • - Job preferences

Optional information about a jobseeker:

  • - Gender, in order to receive personnalised job offers, tips from Jobs Around, and to let Employers know your gender

2. Restricted information

Information that is not shared publicly on the website and on mobile apps, in order to protect the privacy of Members:

  • - Last name

  • - Email and Phone numbers

This information is shared with partners (public or private organisations) only when specific job opportunities match a Member’s profile.

3. Use of your data

Data of users is used by JobsAround in order to :

  • - Help Jobseekers find jobs

  • - Help Employers find matching Jobseeker profiles for a job offer

  • - Help improve the proficiency of Jobseekers to speak a language in the country where they live

Data can be shared outside of JobsAround organisation in two situations:

  • - To help a jobseeker find a job. Jobseeker collected data can be shared with a public or private organisation, for example with Pole Emploi or with a work agency.

  • - To assist public organisation manage ressources allocated to a jobseeker. For example if a jobseeker lives in a housing managed by the local prefecture, JobsAround may share the information that jobseeker found job in another city to help him relocate.

4. User rights

You have the following rights on the data we have about you:

  • - Delete data: You can ask us to erase or delete all or some of your personal data. For example, if you no longer use our services, you can ask us to delete your account and all of the data associated with it.

  • - Change or correct data: You can edit some of your personal data through your account. You can also ask us to change, update, or fix your data if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • - Restrict use of data: You can ask us to stop using all or some of your personal data. For example, if you no longer want us to send you marketing emails, you can ask us to stop sending them.

  • - Access your data: You can ask us for a copy of your personal data. You can also ask for a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format, so that you can take it to another service provider.

5. Security

We implement a variety of security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS. However, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information that you send us. There is always the chance that data may be accessed, disclosed or destroyed due to a breach of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

6. Data management

Our Services processing Visitor and Member’s data are hosted in countries of the European Union and in Switzerland.

We will keep your personal data as long as you have an account with us. For example, if you only use our services to look for a new job every few years, we will still keep your information and profile open, even if you do not log in. However, if you close your account, we will delete your information within a reasonable period of time.

7. Trackers and cookies

Our Services use trackers and cookies for :

  • - Management of authentification

  • - Personnalisation of the user interface (language…)

  • - Improving our Services performance and interface

Those trackers and cookies do not require consent.
